Carl Dupree - CEO 

Phuture Sole's CEO, Passaic, NJ native, Carl Dupree is among the new "saviors" of NJ's soulful dance scene.  Like most of the "movers & shakers" in this genre, a teenaged Carl started his career as a DJ, "I had to play hip hop just to learn the basics of spinning".   Saving enough money to purchase a pair of Technic SL-B1 turntables, a mixer, an equalizer and a new amplifier, he recruited some local DJ friends, Joe and Marlon Ventura and formed a DJ group called "Jam Productions".   It was around this time that he caught notice of a DJ named Mark Mendoza, who had his own DJ crew....(read the entire bio)

Sweet Sarah - Label Manager/Events Coordinator
She is a Newark native, born into a mixed Latin culture of Loja, Ecuador (father) and of Cataño, Puerto Rico (mother). Born in the middle of the raging disco era of 1975, Sarah enjoyed listening to the music of this era and was mesmorized by the stories she heard of Studio 54 (NYC), Paradise Garage (NYC), Club Zanzibar (Newark, NJ) and Cheetahs (Paterson, NJ). Born in Brooklyn, New York 1976. Product of a West Indian/Latin background and born with one of the strongest passions for music. My first dose of dance music was injected by my father a few days after I came home from the hospital. It was a 45 by DC Larue entitled “Cathedrals”. I grew up in a huge family where everyone went out every Friday night and purchased records. My grandmother had the largest collection and it was a joy to spend time with her every Saturday afternoon listening to every kind of musical genre that existed.
